They're Back!

Gene and I had seen some Turkey Vultures soaring around the neighborhood recently and thought we should check out where they hung out last year. So, we went down to Center St. in Provo a couple of nights ago...what a sight! There were between 30 and 40 of them roosting in the trees! We saw the last few fly in and settle down for the night. This is a great time of year to see them because the leaves haven't come out on the trees yet, so they aren't hidden. They are so cool! I'm thinking we should bring a dead chicken or something and see if they'll come down to the sidewalk and eat. Not really. I'm sure we would regret doing that! But, hey, if you like to watch birds and some big ones that are so cool, go to Center and 400 East in Provo, around 6:30 to 8:00 pm, and look up! They are amazing!

Gene took this video with his phone, so it's not the best. We'll work on getting something better!
