It's Riding Time Again!

With temperatures in the 80's today we couldn't resist going on a lengthy (not really, like a couple of hours) drive in the Triumph!  We headed to Springville on the back roads,
then over the new overpass to Spanish Fork,
then the great scenic drive to Lake Shore.
My dream house is in Lake Shore.
It's a sweet green house, set off the road, with a big porch.  Nice.
Between the smell of ditch banks burning, as well as the fresh manure churned into the freshly tilled farm land, the sounds of the train and the birds, it was great!

Later, we had to mail a letter, so we took off again.  This time we headed toward the lake, fantastic!  We try to stay on as many back roads as possible to avoid traffic and we see so many pretty view of the mountains.  Today was fun too because everyone was outside in their yards, riding bikes, jogging, playing ball-anything they could do to be out in this beautiful weather!

Gene has started a blog about our travels,
check it out:  Triumph Travels

So, with the coming of great weather,
we'll be out and about town and country.

If you see us be sure to honk and wave!

  2. love your car (and Christmas car-d!) Here's my mom's days/car story for you: my mom used to race Triumphs and MGs MANY years ago and I love the cars. She was in a serious accident in one around town (before the days of the safety bar under the back of semis), so didn't drive them after that. I begged her to do a test drive when I was 16 and she did. She passed away a year ago...it was fun to tell all the oldies around her that she was race car driver. So fun to see that you are having a great time together doing this! love, Dee
