Well, it's New Year's Day and I'm thinking I should get better at this blogging thing. I have lots of bird pictures that I could post, but after a while even I get tired of those!! We've seen lots of different birds at our feeders all winter and Gene grabs his camera whenever some of his favorites show up. So, if any of those photos are especially great, I'll post them. The best news for our family this Christmas is that our daughter, Rachel, and her husband, Patrick, are expecting a baby!! This is our first grandchild and we're beyond excited! Rachel and Patrick have been married 10 years and have had a couple of miscarriages, so this is an extra exciting thing for them. We'll be praying for all three (Rachel, Patrick and baby) to be healthy and safe!
